My issue with Mikeyev in that spot is his lack of offensive instincts hurting that line more than Bertuzzi's skating does when he's in that spot. Bertuzzi also goes to the front of the net more often and is better there.

Yeah but can that line handle other 1st lines around the NHL? I don't think so.

It's a line that will have its moments but is bound to be big time in the negative of the +/- stat.

That shift Martinez gave the puck away immediately. It’s usually the defense being plugs causing this because they can’t move the puck.
