I get that Point was late/missed a meeting or whatever, but to sit him the entire game seems pretty harsh. Maybe the 1st period, fine, but with Tampa's depth issues outside the top 6, it absolutely hamstrings the team and likely now costs them points.

Makes you wonder if it’s a persistent issue. Personally I’m pretty disappointed he put Coop in a position where this was necessary.

No way, Point is the only one who cost his team. Cut and dry, they know the policy. Players go their whole careers without missing a meeting. Huge fan of the guy but you have to enforce it.

Perhaps the policy is what needs changing. I'm not saying it's not on Point, but an entire game seems excessive to me for this type of thing.

Disagree, I think it helps set a standard. Tough to know how often this stuff really happens around the league but I side with the org on this one.
