Lundqvist looks really shaky. Very uncomfortable. The point blank shots are one thing, but the dude is fighting everything. Dump shots. Long range wristers. I have next to no confidence in him.

I get that he’s not peak, and the team in front of him is weak defensively. But there are many nights he looks like a very average NHL goalie.

It’s like watching a family member age rapidly.

In its simplest breakdown, the offense has some interesting firepower that is only going to get stronger as certain young talents come into their own. But the defensive coverage is still an adventure - and not just for the blueliners.

I’m seeing a lot of open space out there left by the forwards, I’m seeing defenseman looking like Wile E. Coyote trying catch a meal and Lundqvist is leaving a lot of net to shoot at.
