No problem. I’m fine with giving Buch a long leash. The bigger issue is Strome holding down Kakko and Kreider. He is basically a 4th line center being asked to set up two important offensive weapons

I love Buchnevich being “weak on the puck” when him being strong on the puck led to two goals...

He has also been back checking quite hard. If that puck went in everyone would be talking about the great game he is playing.

Yeah Howden has the middle and wheeler beat him. Bad goal on hank but that’s what opened it up

Yeah it’s a shot you want your goalie to stop but the defense was atrocious, Wheeler shouldn’t ever have been able to cut and be alone in the middle like that.

The gaps between the Rangers defensive players and WPG forwards is absolutely atrocious....ice is tilted big time and there’s a red carpet rolled out at the Ranger blue line.

People seem to be forgetting Winnipeg is a good team and has played together a long time. The Rangers have a lot of new guys on the team this year and inexperience. Add to that the fact that they barely played together this preseason and tonight's performance is not surprising.
