Brian Boyle is the WOAT. He should just use two sticks at a time since he can't keep the stick on one for more than 1 second anyway.

Losing the Coyotes is awful because they're basically a team full of tweener forwards and have no star talent. Their D is nice though.

You're tempering your expectations too greatly. If tonight is an uphill battle because the crowd is 'amped', then I can't imagine what you'd consider the next 4-5 games against much better teams. A point does not satisfy.

Would you expect the Rangers to win their home opener regardless of opponent?

Brassard line looked better in that period. Nice to see them choosing to shoot the puck instead of passing on every play.

Lundqvist isn't in mid-season form yet. The PK issue and subsequent goal doesn't happen if he freezes the puck on one of those saves he made. Not blaming it on him, just pointing it out.

Boyle... stop breaking your sticks buddy.

Calling Rick Nash...? Calling Rick Nash? Hello?

Boyle and Pyatt have more ice time already than I thought they'd have all game. Maybe more than I thought they'd have in the first two games combined. Note to AV; cut that **** out. ASAP.

Fast shouldn't be skating between those two; it's an absolute waste of all his strengths. No point having him in the lineup if you're going to put him in a situation that neutralizes his strengths. Play Asham with those two and make it a fourth line. Fast needs to play with guys who can keep up with his skating and get in on the forecheck and then cycle.

Richards looks better. Stepan looks not so hot. Staal looks great. G has been getting better as the game's gone on.

Rick Invisible Nash is really irking me.

Boyle only has 10:24 of icetime (granted, its more than anyone else outside of the first line). It feels like he has been on the ice for 30 minutes though, hehe.

Break up that Stepan and Nash line. Both players are ineffective. Get Nash where he can succeed.

On Rick Nash, some of Joe's self-correction was accurate. Nash needs to be more visible, but Richards and Stepan and the D need to do a better job finding him in open ice too.

Did Nash's no trade clause come with him? It's time to have that discussion. Guys with a 7.8 million cap can't be invisible like this.

Where is our poster boy Rick Nash
Awful playoffs
Dismal preseason not showing any interest whatsover
Invisible (albeit the assist) so far tonight with several flubs
Was this guy worthy of the hefty prize we gave?
Consider me very sceptical - not based on tonights game

Richards looks better

Pyatt and Boyle 4th and 5th most ice time among forwards...Happy with how we're playing as a whole though. We've had lots of scoring chances.

better passing period, but speed/intensity dropped a little. Gotta raise it up for the 3rd period. Had some chances, need to get more in the third!

Nash as always, not a good first or second, just quiet, but normally shows up for the third period, hope it holds true.

Boyle either breaks his stick or can't hold on to it.
