Gonna be an interesting film study session for Kuch. On the one hand he was dealing tonight and the 4 points and all, but he turned the puck over at his own blueline the shift of his first goal, and gave another one away just now for Columbus’ 3rd.

A wins a win but watching this team futz around and give up soft goals late in games to bad teams takes a lot of the joy out of them. Vasy was tracking to be back in the Vezina conversation in December but now the numbers are creeping back up again.

Rightfully so. The Kuch and Serge turnovers that led to goals were inexcusable
At some point you have to give credit to the other team. I don’t think kuch did anything extremely egregious tonight, Columbus just read him well and made him pay.

As to whether kuch would take those risks in a more serious game, I guess we’ll have to see come playoff time.

I'm not overly concerned about the guys getting lazy in a game they can dominate at the flip of a switch.

Oh jeez, are you guys never satisfied unless it's a win without the opponent having a single shot on goal?
