I'm not sure how that is definitively on the system and not on the players.

All teams over the last 5 years have had players. All of those teams/players got more than 1 shot in a period 2 days in a row. The players are the control, the system is the variable.

Are you suggesting Ruff was playing for a tie in the first period against MTL? Or telling them to be passive while DOWN a goal?

Know what, **** this. I'm not here to debate about the coach/system (i've already said multiple times I'm leaning towards wanting him gone when they don't get out of the 1st roudn this year.)....I'm just gonna have to take steps to not get dragged into this nonsense.

Enjoy your witchhunt.

It's not a witch-hunt, it's observation of the games. This team is not worse than the Canadiens, Panthers, or Leafs. Tons of guys are playing the worst hockey of their career. We just had a one shot period. This isn't Team Canada against Latvia, you can't explain that with just the players.

Blow blow blow blow blow blow blow blow blow

Suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck

Why not?

We've played like hot garbage and are only 1 point out of a playoff spot.
I didn't think we were going to make the playoffs at the start of the season, to be honest. Just too young. One legitimate top 9 center (who's bad in his own right defensively right now), poor defending, no real wing talent outisde of the top line...

VHP isn't going to produce at this absurd rate all year long. It's horrible that we're two games under .500 with the most productive ES line (by far!) in the NHL.

damn ehroff, why did you rifle it right into him when you knew he was there?????

Why did this coach take his foot off the pedal?

Facepalm Sabre loss.

That's the 2 ref system for you..... ref who was closest agreed with you and the one on the other side of the ice/blue line decided it was a penalty.

Although slashing the stick like that has been a regular call of late.
They need to go back to calling broken sticks. Guys are holding their sticks loosely and just dropping them and getting calls. It's not consistent, either, which is frustrating.

Going to the game on Tuesday in Ottawa to watch this team suffer live :handclap:

And I'll be bugged by all my friends who are Sens fans, can't wait!
