That's not how being a fan works. You don't cheer once the team plays well, you cheer all the time to try and pump them up. Watch a game with a canadian home team, go damn Leaf fans keep it going the whole game and their team hasn't been releveant in decade.

Watching this crowd actually makes me depressed. It's night and day in just about any other building. Even when scoring chances happen barely anybody reacts.

Okay buddy, you're right. Must be all of the other fans of just about any other sports team in the world are wrong and cheering doesn't matter, despite the fact that actually players repeatedly state they feed off the energy of the home crowd.

I'm sure that has nothing to do with selling tickets.

to be clear you're saying teams would never win on the road because of the fan's noise?

This is so not funny. Vanek absorbs about 20 of that crosschecks every game and is not getting a powerplay for that. If he does it once, it instantly gets called.
F U Refs, simply put. That was a weak game.

Ennis needs to be removed from the lineup, to practice faceoffs, otherwise he is useless at center.

No ****, I'm not making excuses for the players. I'm just saying I can't blame them for not getting pumped up playing in front of an empty building. There's just no life from the fans whatsoever and it's just dull.

Ennis and Hecht a combined 6-20 at the dot. Yay for left wings occupying two of your top-9 slots!

Jeff Skinner worked out with Roberts in the off season while Myers made his own granola bars, helped Shea Weber count his money and played poorly in AUSTRIA.

No kidding. Its cherry picking calls again. The referees were trash tonight. Complete trash.

Was I alone in hoping someone would've just smushed skinner right there?

Also, as a non-Buffalonian(?), I'm forced to watch the Canes feed via Center Ice.

John Forslund: "WHAT A GOAL BY SKINNER" hahaha

Lol.

The Leafs home crowd is one of the deadest in the whole league. Only suits and corporations can afford tickets, and the lower bowl s half-empty most of the time as the suits are either at the bar or left early.

35% on faceoffs tonight. We were 30th (dead f'ing last) coming into tonight. Anyone think Regier even tries to address that deficiency? I doubt it.
