This thread's going to need some valium

Mark Pavelich was brought out of retirement to play for the inaugural Sharks. He assisted on the first ever goal scored by the team. It was also the first primary assist in their history.

They lost that game 4-3, and the winning goal was scored with 19 seconds left in the same. Current Blue Jackets coach Dean Evason took a slashing penalty with 46 seconds left in the game.

And because the first Sharks game was against the Canucks, former Canuck Craig Coxe scored the Sharks first goal. He was born in the San Jose area.

And then to go full circle, Mark Pavelich’s comeback was two games. Both were against Vancouver.

Is that enough Valium?

In the 3 games they played in the Sharks inaugural season, Rob Ray and Link Gaetz didn’t have a single fight, even though they both dressed in the games.

Jarmo Myllys played every game for the Sharks vs. the Sabres, while Buffalo used three different goalies.

As for this season: the tank bowl is on.
Jarmo Myllys tried so hard to be the first goalie to score in shl. He even wanted to take a penalty shot but the ref said he couldn't pass the red line.

In the end he scored a nice one just after another goalie got a fluke goal (rebound into empty net).
