Markstrom, Horvat and Tanev were all excellent on the penalty kill. No problem with the call to put the Canucks down on a 5-on-3, but surely Hamilton running Markstrom over with no pressure should have been a goalie interference call.

Flames announcers are getting to be some of the biggest homers in the league. Whoever is their play by play guy is on par with John Garrett.

Brodie with his 3rd point tonight.

That's 5 in his last 2 games.

14 in his last 12.

Only Karlsson has a higher even-strength-point-per-game average than Brodie.

If only Brodie had a shot he could utilize on the PP, he'd be a lock for top 5 defenseman scoring every year.

Don't say anything at all
Sometimes I refer to the four divisions by their pre-1993 names still, to evoke memories of a period gone by. Except I call the Atlantic the Adams (as that became the NE which became the Atlantic) and the Metro the Patrick (which became the Atlantic which became the Metro).

what happened?

What happened?

Maybe that's not the best way to put it. They waved off a goal for incidental contact then it was challenged and turned into a goal. But it did not fall into any of the obvious categories, like player made no contact, or player was pushed, so it was basically a review of a subjective call and they subjectively made the other call.

I wonder if you can challenge the challenge. I guess that would be stupid.
