Mr chain hang em w enough rope already. .I Love releasing or trading jokiharu. And some other dead weight. We need two Rochester guys so Happy to be in nyl to WIN two of these four or season is finished.Sitting has done anything, Quinn has responded but having Kulich out (now back), McLeod and Greenway...you are kinda forced to roll with what ya got. I'd trade Bryson or Jokiharju for whatever I could get and call up Jobst or Murray and tell Peterka, this is on you.
I mean its not fun to watch them. It hasn't been fun for a while but it was still fun to come here and make fun of the team a bit and predict what they could do in the future. Now it's not anymore. The team sucks, nothing is going to change and this board is a quicksand pit of negativity as a result. To be clear, the board being this way is the teams fault, not the posters. People can only take so much. The GDTs are getting shorter and shorter. I forgot the game was on. Dialled in to see Tuch score and then McCann. Turned it off again.
Instead of scheduling games between the Sabres and the Kraken, they should just give Seattle 2 points and save everyone the hassle.
I watched on espn+Was this a national broadcasts game because I got blacked out on ESPN+
I like Bryson sometimes. Looked at plus minus ROC.All three d-pairs have been scored on at 5-on-5 now.
No, I watched on plusWas this a national broadcasts game because I got blacked out on ESPN+
And now tied with Nashville for third worst pt total in the league with 39 pts17 wins in 46 games.
Year 5 of this "management". How can this be allowed to continue? Such a slap in the face of the fans and community
Personally I think the players and their shitty performances are a symptom of shit ownership and management. If there are no consequences then players get complacent and stop caring. Ever work somewhere where the boss is checked out and doesn't care? You get a few workers with good work ethic and pride still showing up and working. The rest are also checked out because they aren't being held accountable. That's what I believe we're seeing.I don't think getting away from ownership/management is remotely the issue here. These players go to teams that the entire team has bought into playing a system from day one and they hold each other accountable. We can piss and moan about Adams and Pegula but at the end of the day ... It's, again, on the players. The players can barely string together passes, they rifle terrible shots that are nowhere near the net, they rarely attack the net, they have zero idea what to do with the puck when it comes around the boards. When they are in their own end, they have no awareness for where they or other players are. The dmen collapsed at least 4 or 5 times today in which they ended up bumping into Levi and the surprise on their face was laughable. It genuinely feels like they are half implementing Ruff's system because they don't want to pay the physical price of playing it for 60 minutes. It trickles down because of you see your co-workers half assing it, you will prob do the same. Their are a handful of players who bring it every shift and it is glaring.
The above logic is solid, for normal day to day jobs. These are top in the world players (mostly) that have scouts and fans watching them, every minute of every game. It is much different when you make this kind of money and this visibility. You have to maximize you earning in this timeframe, they shouldn't have this "I'll take a shift off mentality".Personally I think the players and their shitty performances are a symptom of shit ownership and management. If the players won't buy into a coach's system then most teams would make changes. Bench or even trade players, or fire their coach and bring in one who might be better suited for how the team is built. Yet nothing. Crickets. We get smartass comments about players wanting palm trees. The whole thing stinks of lack of accountability from the top down. I guess it's to be expected. 14 years of ownership and 0 playoff games isn't exactly a result you get from an owner who knows what the hell they're doing.
Depends on what year the plan for success was, first two years were rebuilding years. The 22-23 season was the real problem, everyone exceeded expectations and Adams buying in on it has hurt this team the last two years.17 wins in 46 games.

I think it was on a podcast I was listening to but someone feel free to correct me. But they said something like the Bills have either the same or more home wins than the Sabres do.17 wins in 46 games.

The Bills (10) have more Home wins than the Sabres (9) do.I think it was on a podcast I was listening to but someone feel free to correct me. But they said something like the Bills have either the same or more home wins than the Sabres do.
Well, that’s not goodThe Bills (10) have more Home wins than the Sabres (9) do.
Sabres (8) barely have more away wins than the Bills (5).Well, that’s not good
Adams: “move on from Cozens, Peterka, Joki, Samuelsson? Best I can do is extend Joki and trade Zucker for a 2nd rounder at the TDL”The above logic is solid, for normal day to day jobs. Even with shitty management, the goal is to win a cup and get paid. If it were me, I would be in my teammates faces holding them accountable. It's also tough to get people to come to a toxic work environment, the palm trees comment was wildly overblown by fans but we know it's all true. People see it as an excuse when it is a larger driving force. Team like Winnipeg win and still have issues with players wanting to stay/go there.
I would fully expect Adams and Ruff to be here next year and between now and the start of next season, they need to move on from Cozens, Peterka, Joki and Samuelsson. They need to also use that capital to get a dman for Power, a competent 2C and a proven scoring winger. It's a monumental task, hope he is up for it.
