Only caught probably 20min scattered throughout this one. But it seems like the problem is clear and we know it. We bet big with big, long term deals on the wrong players. And it will take years to fix.

If we hired a non moron as a GM it would be much quicker than you think.

That’s what everyone said after Krueger too. It’s always the last coaches fault, and it always takes several years to change habits after a new coach is installed.

No other team needs more than a few games to acclimate to a new system. Maybe a dozen at most. In buffalo, it takes several years if you believe the GM and fans. Funny how that doesn’t happen to any other team, ever.

A completely pathetic effort from a pathetic roster and organization. Turned the game after Pens 4th goal and Sabres powerless power play.

These guys obviously need to enroll in summer skills hockey camps for squirts and peewees. They don't even know how to take the proper angle to shield their opponents from getting to the puck. The is repeated endlessly game after game.

Lindy Ruff..... it's a puck possession game these days. Your guys are freaking deer in the headlights any time they have to go 1 on 1 on the boards with an opponent.

Some of them used to actually be good at playing that kind of game. The Pens are a slow team and they looked like speed demons against the oh so slow and lackadaisical Sabres.

Terry Pegula doesn't have the BALLS to do it. Simple as that.

I'll say it AGAIN: Unless Pegula sells the team or DIES, the Sabres will not improve.

Just like Chicago was when old man Wirtz was in charge.
