For fans of neo-psych - just found a British band called Desert Mountain Tribe. Pretty damn good. Run for the Hills are good too. Australian I think.

Slightly shoegazy, electro-pop - I Break Horses. Swedish group. First album is awesome.

This chart is too cool, thanks! Can't wait to do some digging through this. I already know and love a lot of the dream pop stuff, I remember having a good conversation with someone on these boards years ago about Slowdive. I'm excited to check out some of the stuff below Loveless.

RIP, Merle Haggard...if anyone is interested in what real country music is supposed to sound like, Merle's a fine place to start.

If yer into country - I'm more of a Beatles/Clapton/Chicago/Billy Joel listener myself - I recommend to you, from George Harrison's All Things Must Pass, a tune which, if memory serves, is entitled Behind That Locked Door.

Peter Drake.
MAJOR pedal steel, possibly the best of all time w/Harrison, probably the best slide guitarist ever.

I know Duane Allman has the rep, and he deserves it, but I heard on an Anthology album George took a brief partial shot at Bridge Over Troubled Water, and even as just a snipet, that was beyond words....

The Lilys album is a pure ripoff of Loveless but it's still great.

Thought this was really cool, and was wondering what everyone else thinks. Axl Rose is going to be fronting AC/DC this year.

Oh god, what has science done?

Great. That screaming cat is now going to pollute AC/DC

Usually, I'd agree, however, this mini-reunion of Guns has really rejuvenated Axl. Those Vegas shows last weekend were great, so I am really interested in seeing how it goes.

There's also a rumor Angus Young is in LA right now and could make an appearance during their set at Coachella. So, we may get an early taste haha. If nothing else, it's something to talk about.

Guns n Roses and ACDC never really did much for me (Yes I am that guy).

I do think Axl has a wildly awesome voice though or at least he used to. I haven't heard him sing in awhile.

I hate AC/DC with a burning passion.

I'm a pretty big Guns fan, but I'm with you Ail, I hate AC/DC. So, I'm really only interested to see how it goes because of that. And, here's Jungle from Vegas last week if you're curious Bob.(NSFW and all that good stuff).

I've been re-listening to Liquid Swords by GZA the Genius from the Wu Tang Clan this past week.

One of the best hip-hop albums of all time.
