Defensively, we've been about average, maybe a bit below. So you're probably right there.

It's a mediocre season. Plain and simple. Flashes of good play don't change it. We had flashes of God play all year. The end of this season doesn't have any bearing on next season except in the minds of the wishful thinkers who like moral victories. Remember the season where we tore it up down the stretch only to lose to Minnesota at the end? Did that momentum carry to next season? No. I'm not saying we won't be better next season, but this run of wins has no bearing. It's simply at the cost of the draft....a darn good draft. We've seen this over and over. #12 pick here we come!
