If Orpik was defending his area instead of tied up with a man on the post on the goal line, he's in a position to defend Tuch as he cuts across the middle (and perhaps prevents it completely), which means that Carlson doesn't need to be dragged out of position, which leaves someone home to defend against that little pass across the middle.

I'm not going to lie. I'm pleased to see Oshie (and to a lesser extent Eller) get a Cup. Nice little bow to put on Ovechkin's HOF career. Also happy that Vegas didn't win in their first year. They'll just have to settle for having the best inaugural season ever as an expansion team.
