What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server“If you have time, use it”Why is it every other team locks these guys up right away and we always wait till the price goes up?
Could be just a 1st, 2nd, 3rd.If he signs for $9M a year somewhere else what do the Leafs get in return? 3, 4 or 5 1st Round picks? Anyone know?
See my chart, he wouldnt qualify for the 4 1st Round Picks.I’m taking the 4 1st round picks.
Knies is good, he’s not 2 million dollars less than nylander good
It’s a 3 year bridge, the team or player don’t need to complicate this
God, this board keeps so many of these people paid. Everyone hears one fear mongering guest and goes crazy.
Yeah I saw that and it almost certainly has a withdrawal clause if he leaves the Canadian market.View attachment 997385
I guess once these guys get a taste of the Toronto money, it's never enough eh?
I thought the Dylan Guenther deal would be a potential comparison with Knies. 8 years, $57 million, over $7 million in AAV.
Here's hoping he signs an OS and Leafs match (could be a good thing like the Aho OS).Heck no, money wise Toronto goes from 0 to Kucherov in about 1.5 seasons flat lol

If he gets a ridiculous OS and you take the picks and Marner walks for nothing, they are f***ed. LOL.
There’s a ton of comparables for this not to get crazy, you have Guenther, you have Boldy, you have Beniers, you have Mercer, you have Byfield, you have McTavish
Every single player had more hype and a higher ceiling though... I think they are comparable to an extent.
Exactly and those players were 1st rounders too. What I’m saying is I don’t think the leafs will over pay based on the 5 guys I named. A few of them signed bridge deals too,
Easy to replace a soft, perimeter player who can't score and disappears past game 85 and wants $13+m. More difficult to also replace what Knies brings in the playoffs and he still hasn't reached his ceiling at 22.are we? I thought we could just sign a bunch of UFA’s with the extra cap space and be fine? Hard working ones!
