He gets hooked multiple times every game without getting favorable calls. Maybe it's putting a strain on his body. He probably has multiple nagging injuries that add up.

Idk though. Hes pretty much been off since the first preseason game. Maybe he came into preseason hurt but who knows. Feels like theres some mental stuff going on with whatever physical is going on.

Connor Brown is a scoring disaster. For the chances this guy gets its amazing he has only 1G. He has always seems to be just pushing the puck at net, even on a breakaway.

"Oh Connor Brown in wide open for a scoring chance" <time to take a bathroom break because nothings happening. >

130 games as an Oiler, 6goals. jfc
I don’t mind him as an overall player. He was money in the playoffs

My question is how you get to this level in the nhl and be completely unable to lift the puck off the ice….

Islands in the stream.
There are like 3 players having decent years so far. That’s not a good recipe

Our 3rd line doesn’t do anything well. Henrique is floating. Connor brown handles the puck like a toddler learning to skate and RNH is probably mentally brushing his horses all game. His mind is a million miles away.

New fun drinking game. Every time rnh dumps the puck instead of trying to gain the zone with some speed or skill, take a drink. You’ll be drunk by the end of the period
Seeing Garland undress defensive Nugey there in ownzone is friggen embarassing. Nuge was collecting his underwear between whistles.

For sure. But the question is why? No indication of injury. To me it’s a mental thing

Hopefully he has a sports shrink. I’m serious. His head is off. And so is everything else
Maybe priorities are changing? Every game he ever plays, the opposition grinders play their hardest game of their lives to try to stop him. Even today, you have marginal players like Suter trying to get a piece of him before he even gets in the neutral zone. It's easy for teams who only see him a few times a year to get up to play him. Probably getting harder for him to have the same energy
