Leon Draisaitl said it himself so I’ll hide behind him. But it is true - the Oilers simply have not pressed defenders and that’s where you gain power plays.

And as you say the reffing is garbage so both can be true.

I think they will play well because they will actually be motivated.

It's been said a million times but this team is 5-0 when it fights... that's because those are the games where competition actually happens.

Games like the ones against the Hurricanes and the Devils - those were both decently played games by this team, but there was a certain amount of drive missing there, and I think it was because there just wasn't much in terms of competition.

Smith had a 3.35GAA. Some rocks can skip water and then sink. Smith was both in that playoffs.

Thing is its a team sport. In a professional capacity. You don't sacrifice the team goals to get one guy going. I think thats the line of thinking against this sort of thing.
