And I never said they wouldn’t overcome it. My point was clearly the bad call put them in a bad position and the game has a different look if the goal stands. You imagined the other part.

But it was a little.more than a bad call. Ot was a bullshit waived off goal and a bad penalty right after. 2 goal swing in a game that's 2-0 is pretty big.

That being said the Jets are a really good team but the Canes have played a good game.

I don't think the penalty call was a bad one. That's one they've called pretty often. Just because a player is on the ice doesn't mean they can't be called for tripping, and Walker did take out the Jets player.

In a game of slight margins between 2 great teams, 2 bad calls (reversal and the 1st penalty) + our defensive miscues (burns on first goal, Orlov on 2nd) are decision makers.

As I noted earlier, I think our D just isn’t good enough.

O has had opportunities and i have confidence that they will cash in against good teams. Just don’t think our D will play pristine enough.

He read out their official explanation, which said that Rantanen initiated the contact, and simply but directly pointed out that Rantanen was pushed in. It was polite, but it was a direct challenge to NHL officiating, which they don't tend to like.
