If and when he breaks it Alex Ovechkin will be known as the greatest goal scorer in NHL history... because it will be factually true

They barely made it out alive. I said this back in like December but I still think it’s going to be another Florida vs Vegas finals, and Vegas is going to win again. They just know how to play playoff hockey so well.

Vegas is a machine, coming in nonstop waves. As for the East, it's going to come down to the hot goalie as Florida, NYR or Carolina could win

what? Gretzky was retired by 38 and didn't have to rely on teammates to give him a ton of goals he actually could turn anyone into a great goal scorer while putting the pucks in by himself too. The only dumb thing is the people who are gonna say he was a better goalscorer than Gretzky simply because he has more all time goals doesn't make a lot of sense.

It makes as much sense as saying that teams are helping Alex reach Wayne’s record.

You have to not only be willing but also able! They were having a difficult time getting to the dirty areas with the puck for most of the game. It’s not easy against Vegas.
