Here’s a rule I don’t know…. How long does a power play have to be to count, like, when they say a team goes 0-for-4 on the power play?

Example, say Rangers take a penalty. They have the face off. Then 5 seconds later the Islanders take a penalty. The Islanders therefore got a 5 second power play before it went to 4-on-4, and the Rangers WILL get a 5 second power play after 4-on-4 ends. Do those 5 second power play increments get counted towards a team’s PP percentage on the season?

The Strome hate sorta ended when Panarin went down last year. He’s still not good defensively, but his offense is solid, so he could easily Center the kid line.

I had that epiphany the last game after we called a TO before the 5-on-3. Mike Kelly draws up a play and boom, Rangers execute a goal almost immediately. With Oliver, they'd have a bunch of guys with thumbs up their asses.

There are elements about his game I’m not crazy about, but Strome has been a good soldier for us. I respect him.

You're gonna be a man down for the full penalty whether the other team takes a penalty or not.
If the other team takes a penalty then you get a PP after your penalty time expires minus whatever time is left in your penalty.
If that makes sense lol

He's very effective against a team like the Islanders. He's ben getting in Nelson and Lee's way all game and they are noticing him for sure. The feistier his game gets the more important he'll become for us.
