Came across his name actually after realizing that the WHL ij their bantam draft has Hawaii as a state they can select players from so I did a search and this guy came from Hawaii and has a youtube clip.

Obviously not a great player but Hawaii has a single ice rink and I wonder if any other player of any note has come from Hawaii?

Or been drafted in the WHL Bantam draft?

Doesn’t find anyone other than Pamaylaon credited as a “professional hockey player” from Hawaii. Read that Hawaii, hardly surprisingly, has the lowest engagement rate in hockey, and only 279 players registered with USA Hockey.

Kailer Yamamoto is of mixed Hawaiian and Japanese ancestry, but grew up in Spokane, Washington.
