I'm pretty sure Tampa and Carolina are our only two wins over playoff teams since Christmas. And the Carolina win was the first game after Christmas.

The sad part is we haven't played a whole lot of good teams since then, but we were embarrassed by Vegas and were embarrassed on all but the scoreboard in the 1st period of this one.

Colorado's top end is so f***ing good. But yes, overall, we need some more pieces, especially in the bottom of the lineup. Thankfully those are easier to find than top end guys.

I mostly agree with you, but I think he'll be here one more year.

I do think Haula is a buyout for this year, with Palat as a buyout next year.

Unless we can cap dump Haula. I think we could possibly cap dump both of them, but Palat's protection might prohibit that.

I'm not even sure if Haula has trade protection, I f***in hope not. A 3 year contract for a guy that hadn't spent two whole years in a row with the same team since the team that drafted him was generous enough.

I’m done with Mercer . Trade him and Nemec if we have to . Add McCann , Evans . Pay to dump the deadweight .

I said we'd go 2-3 on this trip.

I said we'd beat ONE (not both) of Nashville/Utah and lose to the other, probably either in embarrassing fashion or some blue balls tease comeback that falls short, like the Buffalo game at the beginning of the month or even the Dallas game last weekend.

And beat one of Colorado, Vegas or Dallas.

He's literally slowed it down the last two seasons compared to 2022-2023 when we had the 13 game winning streak.

Don’t think so. Their 2nd line center is Casey Mittelstadt and they’re loaded with gaping holes too. Not to mention we’re quadrupling their goal differential.
