That's bullshit, he didn't call the high stick and said he wouldn't by giving the "follow through" signal thats why he went and crossed checked him.... So the ref decides after to be like ok fine.

Horrible call by the ref. Can't retroactively call something you let go because he decided to be a dumbf*** and cross check him in open ice.

Holy crap. Just because it’s five hole doesn’t mean it’s a softy. There’s a reason these guys are shooting five hole. It’s hard to save those shots from that distance. That one was more saveable than the first however.
Of course guys shoot five hole a lot and score there a lot these days.

And they do it more on BAD goalies that aren't NHL caliber and are PROVEN un-NHL caliber goalies like good old Scott Wedgewood.

That was probably the softest goal a Devils goalie has allowed this year.... Although Wedgewood did allow a pretty poor one in the Washington game, I just forget what it looked like.

That’s ridiculous. That wasn’t a softy that is a hard shot to save. They do it a lot because it’s hard for goalies to save especially from close range like that.

Do we need better goaltending, yeah. Are these shorties, when leaving Tkachuk wide open? Nope. Tough to pin anything on the tenders tonight with this dumpster fire. Severson was a doorknob.

? where was the high stick
It was like 5 seconds before, Matt T called for it but the ref said no, play went on, Matt T got pissed and crosschecked him, so the ref decided that it was indeed a highstick, because he was real upset.
