That’s the sort of play NJ just hasn’t had with this core. Fitz has his blind spots but he has added capable toughness to the team not just MacDermid.

A lot had to due with him going back to the AHL after flaming out around the league. I think he led the AHL with around 50 goals. He was on a mission

I don’t know if the numbers back it up, but I think they’re both doing so much good at 5 on 5 that once we fully unleash what we can do at even strength, they’re gonna go on hot streaks.

Both of them are unfortunately not getting any PP love since the first unit is en fuego.

Timo's put up a ton of shots recently and finally doing the Timo thing. 24 in the last 5. Luke over the last 5 was leading our D in xGF/60 but it was also only at 2.06 which as a team would've ranked 31st on the year lol. He was doing his thing but we were just creating so little over that time
