There is a dearth of centers in Philadelphia and only Luchanko in the system.

3 1st round picks
3 2nd round picks
Foerster
Farabee
Frost
Drysdale

I’d prefer to keep Luchanko and Bonk but no one is really off the table besides Michkov if the player is good enough

Bonk for Ritchie from a needs standpoint would certainly be interesting for both teams.

Avs have our Top 9 Centers all signed for 2 more years after this year so not much room for Ritchie down the middle. On the flip side, they dont have much at RD after Makar. Manson has 1 more year left and is already showing signs of struggling to keep up as a Top 4 RD. Malinski has been a nice pleasant surprise for Colorado this year but not sure if he's got legit Top 4D upside or if he's the right type of 2RD we'd want behind Makar.

Something like Ritchie + Malinski for Bonk + a depth forward from Philly would make a lot of sense I feel like?

But also, when talking about prospects as high end as what Ritchie and Bonk are, you basically never see these guys traded before at least a decent run with the team that drafted them. Nobody wants to be the team that traded away a 19 year old who went on to be a superstar, for a guy that ends up not working out essentially.

If Philly were willing to roll the dice on Josh Norris and his health, i'd think there could be a fit there. Two teams probably looking for a shakeup. But with Couturier already signed forever on a risky contract, i'm not sure if the Flyers would be okay with having their top two Centers be similarly liable to be injured long term at any given moment.

I kind of wonder if there wouldn't be something viable around Drysdale and Farabee. Drysdale kind of exporting a lot of the same injury risk back the other way. Farabee seemingly kind of out of favour there, but a really good, cost-controlled Top-6 Winger and still fairly young.

Farabee on the top line with Couts and TK is out of favor?
