Yotes might as well sign Jagr

Ok, since the Yotes won't be winning anything this season they might as well sign Jagr. Jagr has been playing in Kladno since he left Calgary so he won't be coming out of retirement. Arguments for doing this:

1. The Yotes will probably make more money from selling Jagr jersey (imagine a 90s retro shirt with his name) than they will need to pay for him at league minimum. He will also attract some spectators. So in real money he will be playing for free.

2. He is still extremely serious when it comes to training, and can therefor be a mentor to the youngsters.

3. I would love having him back in the NHL.

4. Wouldn't we all prefer to see Jagr on most season games played all time instead of Marleau?

No, I'm not 100% serious.

Chara, Marleau, Thornton...all still available. We can field the oldest team ever. Need a goalie? Might be able to entice Ryan Miller to come out of retirement.

Is there any 40+ D other than Chara still available? Let's target for 6 players on the ice above 40!

I would personally love Jagr, because I'm a huge fan of his, but probably not the best mentor for the kids. Although his training regimen is certainly insane.

Hell, bring them in too. They could stand on the concourse and sign autographs. That would draw better than the team on the ice.
Brett Hull would have difficulty standing anywhere on the concourse or elsewhere…

Chara stated he wants to sign with an Eastern team if he plays this season.

Just curious, where is Hayton expected to play this season? And what line?
I'm hoping that Hayton plays 1C in Tucson to start the season. IMO he's just not ready to play a significant role on the big team.

Adam Foote is 50 now I think, he might still be available.

And somewhere in Chelsea, Manhattan, this guy named Glen Anderson is still playing men's leagues games with amateurs. Someone should send a scout.
