Only got a couple views on Yegorov but he was 1 goalie heading into the draft that I wished I'd seen more of. He was the 2nd/3rd string goalie for his MHL team, so more of his games were against the weakest of MHL teams, games I usually try avoid watching.

He's quite an athletic goalie though, very quick post-to-post, sometimes a little chaotic. I think he's better and shows more upside than Chechelev at the same age.

What's with the run of Russian goalies over the past few years?
I'm always good with taking a shot at a euro goalie late round.

I hate that if he were drafted by Edmonton, he could be nicknamed "Yeg Yeg".
