We're up 5-0 through one period against the Checkers  I just got home, so didn't watch any, but holy hell.

Klingberg might get called up when they can't make a trade for a RD ... and then also realize that neither Dillon or Goligoski can play RD ... breaking up Goligoski-Daley to make it try and work was absurd.

If you're going to make a rash decision .... at least maybe jump the gun on a guy that may not be totally ready for the defensive responsibility, but he can at least potentially justify his presence with some offense.

The problem is that leaves you with Gonchar potentially on the 2nd pair. Your only effective RD at this point are Daley, Gonchar, and then if called up ... Klingberg.

That leaves something like ...

Goligoski-Daley
Dillon-Gonchar
Benn/Connauton/Oleksiak-Klingberg

Neither of those three are a good partner for Klingberg ... but if I was forced to pick, I guess Oleksiak makes more sense than Benn or Connauton who try to play a similar game as Klingberg. Best option might be Jokipakka-Klingberg though .... send back Oleksiak and waive Connauton. They aren't waiving Benn.

I have no problem breaking up daley and goligoski because I dont think they are really that good.

Ugh, Campbell thought he had the puck, but it was out by his toe and the Checkers player just put it in the empty net.

lol at the announcers asking "what is this annoying song I keep hearing?" as the Taylor Swift Shake it Off song.

Honka really loves shooting the puck right into the opposing forward standing right in front of him.
