He hasn't come close to replicating his 21-22 season and generally looks more 3rd liner than top 6 talent

Made space on the wing and freed up money. Eat bread has been rumoured heavily all year. Many included retention hoping for a 1st rounder (unlikely) in their proposals. This seems appropriate and matches Conroy’s MO of leaving a little value on the table if he can shed a full salary.

That being said, I will miss Mangiapane and always appreciated his underdog career path.
