Axel Jonsson-Fjallby I think low end team should pick him up. If not he clears to AHL.

Lundmark has had a good camp and would probably help a few clubs as a defensive Dman. Hope he passes through unclaimed.

AJF is a great depth piece.
2 years ago he probably played too much with the Jets but last year he was just a short term fill in and he performed very well in that role. He is so fast that he stands out when he's on the ice.
He likely can't think the game at the speed that his feet can move, hence why he is a tweener AHL/NHL 4th line call up. But he's fun to watch and yes he has hair for days.

He’s one of the sneaky names on the waiver wire so far. I mean it’s no surprise he’s there but he thinks the game pretty well, and he’s still just 23.

His problem, is the same problem he’s had forever. He doesn’t have any explosion, or a first move or two, that would buy him an extra second, especially to begin transition, and he still looks weak sometimes. It’s almost like he has this built-in hesitation on his passes. Where there’s no strength behind them. We see it a lot from young Swedish Dmen when they come over, but they usually outgrow it.

I’ll flip a coin on him. The Swedish deep teams like Vancouver and Detroit, although they really don’t have room for him, could put in a claim, and hope they can push him through waivers 2-3 weeks from now. He’s still young enough where if you work on those things, he has enough other attributes to become a decent NHL dman.

Seems like a good fit for the Oilers. Anyone but Josh Brown is a win.
