But Briere? i'm sorry, but no way. Briere is a game breaker. He setup our winning goal today. He may not play Crosby like minutes and put Crosby like performances up, which is why he's on our 4th line instead of 1st line right now, but still, you don't scratch him

I was also calling for Briere out due to his age and size for this series. However he seems to have something with Weiss, and he's being limited to <10 Min per game, and managing important points still.

No. I like White, but Briere does help produce some offence on that 4th line and that is a huge advantage for us. Keep that 4th line as is.

It's nice to know though that we have White in case of an injury. Not too many teams have the depth we do. Looking at how Prust has performed these playoffs, I'd have White inserted into the lineup before Prust.

Could be the shoulder injury, but Prust doesn't look like the same guy out there. I'm glad Bournival is playing now, he deserves it.

Briere ain't doing much offensively and is a liability defensively. Plekanec and DD were even double shifted to take some of his shifts tonight. He can be an asset on the PP though but that's about it.

I think White could be better fit with Weise and Moen. He is more responsible defensively plus he's decent on the faceoffs. He would also be better at cycling the puck along the boards in the Bruins zone .This come at the cost of some offensive upside

Briere is PPG playoff performer. He's assisted on two GWG with only six minutes of icetime. Newsflash! That makes Briere the best player on the team per 60 minutes! Without that goal last night we go into overtime maybe we lose the game. Do people even think before they post?

I do like White and his talent on the faceoffs would be useful but not at the expense of diluting our offense. Also how would he fare against Bergeron? I'm not so sure. It's not like we are getting killed on the dot. Our centers seem to be holding their own just fine.

And like somebody else said. No need to instigate and poke the bear which is part of White's game. We have Boston playing OUR game. Let's keep it that way.

No, White is to risky at this point, I like his ability to check, faceoffs, fearless but takes dumb penalties and does the opposite of everything this team stands for right now. ie. lets his emotions take over. Briere had a big pass on game winner and will have another big night soon. book it.
