Would team Canada and Team USA have made the playoffs this year?

looking at the rosters, Canada would make the NHL playoffs but I doubt the USA would

usa would sneak in i think. very young team but that team can skate and its got two elite first line players in eichel and gaudreau.

Absolutely. The wholesale replacement of "grit" and "savvy" with skills should be able to completely offset same, plus whatever chemistry comes from playing with linemates for extended periods, or anything else the select team lacks. Assuming Team Canada gets to draw a few more roster players to make a 23 man team, injuries can happen to anyone.

Team USA should make it too. If they didn't, their HF fanbase should be howling for management blood. Although they finished awfully strong, and Canada under-achieved? Who knows...

Definitely Schenn would get traded though. He's unnecessary.
