Since Canada is pumping tires how dominant they currently are in international competition (and yes I agree they are dominant)

But how would they do against swedens best defense? I am currently imagining this setup:

Karlsson - Hedman
Lindholm - OEL
Kronwall - Klingberg
Hjalmarsson

That's a weaker defense than Canada's best defense, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Canada is still better in large part due to having better shut down defenders. Karlsson on big ice is a huge x-factor, and would maybe be the best defender out of both groups. But the depth for Canada is crazy. Look at someone like Letang who probably wouldn't make any best on best team for Canada, yet he is one of the top players in the game at his position.

we would do better then you'd do vs our Olympic defense (which is not as good as it was during the Olympics)

Weber - Doughty
Bouwmeester - Pietrangelo
Vlasic - Keith
Hamhuis

(1) Let's start with something other than "pumping tires" accusations...

(2) Would Canada get their best roster, too?
