This tournament features logos eliminated in the first round of the Logo Tournament. For the first round, 1st seed = lowest % votes in previous tournament and 16th seed = highest % votes. For subsequent rounds, seeds will be redone based on the percentage of votes each logo received in their previous matchup.

The D has grown on me. Not the best, but it’s a version of a thing. Golden Knights are just generic- I like their unis and how it actually comes together, but by itself the logo looks like a create-a-team generic thing from EA. Expect to be in the minority here though.

The Vegas logo isn't bad bad, and it has some interesting design elements thrown in there (the hidden V, the helmet shading, the subtle break of the horizontal line at the top of the shield). Negatives: it feels a little corporate/generic.

There's very little you can say for the flying duck foot. I guess it suggests a bold forward motion. It's both a footprint and a quasi-letter-D. It's not racially offensive. That sums up the positives. Negatives: it's hideous and doesn't communicate anything.

I think that VGK logo is really bad. Bottom 5 in the league, in my opinion. The punch-out V is the only saving grace. And I've said it in countless threads, it looks like a budget condom brand logo.

There's not many that are worse. But the Ducks logo is one of them. It's guilty of being boring, awkward, oversimplified, ugly, and does a terrible job representing a team of Ducks! Bottom 3 in the NHL. Only the Caps and Kings are worse, off the top of my head.

Ducks logo ain't the worst in the NHL let alone all of sports.

That helm logo for Vegas is worse because it isn't even a Knights helm more like one used in ancient times from Sparta. A logo for a Knight could of been so cool and you get that for a logo ROFL

Looking again, and ya- Ducks is fugly. That color doesn’t help.

Anyone think Vegas would look infinitely better with a pair of red eyes lookin out? It still just feels incomplete to me, gives it some personality if there are some minimalist facial features. Plus red eyes= Vegas

Ah my teams. Honestly, the webbed D is not great. Bottom tier for sure but it's not that bad. Plenty of worse hockey logos and not the worst in nhl history. Just for the NHL today it sticks out for being honestly odd looking. I appreciate the concept but the execution is lacking. Not horrendous to look at, but not great either. Little bit of bias letting me forgive it since the Ducks won a cup with that D in their old wordmark logo.

With the VGK logo, once I adapted to the fact that it's not really a Knight helmet from medieval times I came to appreciate it a lot. I'm biased but I think while it's a "safe" design, I think it's appropriately clean, eye catching, and immediately recognizable. It's not the most jaw dropping logo design you'll ever see but it does the job. My only gripe is that there was a logo concept I saw floating around before the official logo reveal that I liked better and still like better, I just can't find it anymore. That and I would've liked Las Vegas Knights better as the name but the branding we got ain't bad.

Both these are trash, but at least the Ducks one carry some subtle humour to it. Vegas logo is trying to be great which makes it worse IMO.
