Great to see this tournament back, very underrated event IMO. Hope to see Team Canada East build off its great 2019 tournament and earn its first gold medal.

As a Latvian, thats the first time I hear of this tournament. Apparently, Im not the only one, since no Latvian sports media reported on this. Even the hockey federation has not made any announcements. Also, "The top four teams will advance to the medal round". This is hilarious for a 5 team tournament. Were the organizers like "OK, we are planning to have a 4 team tournament, but those Latvians want in. Fine, but no way we are changing the rules. Lets just play a preliminary round, wait for Latvia to lose all games and once they're out, the four big guys play for the medals"?

Canada's selection camp rosters are out. I wasn't aware before, but am now, that because the BCHL withdrew from the Canadian Junior A process, the BCHL players won't be participating.

I noticed that there wasn't one player from the BCHL. Doesn't seem like a decision that benefirs the players in any way. What is behind it?

Not on HockeyTv, which is too bad. It'll be interesting to see if the games are viewable after the fact.
That's messed up, they were free in past years. Canada Hockey must need to replenish their slush fund.

Anyone know if HockeyTV is again streaming the games?

The BCHL have left Hockey Canada a few years ago. They no longer participate in any Junior A related events (like this event and the Centennial Cup). Still a bit of a mystery on why though.
