This is what I saw:

- Slowest skater on the ice by a fair margin.

- Turning and transitioning like a tractor trailer, taking himself out of the play.

- Horrendous offensive zone penalty.

- Failing to get the puck out of our zone the second he was pressured, resulting in getting pinned deep.

- Slap passes into skates.

I thought he was the worst skater we have iced this year.
I really wish you wouldn’t critique my beer league play like that. I’m trying my best.

You're not going to get an argument from me on any of these points, especially the last one. I said it during the game, I appreciate that he wants to play a physical game, but Bednar won't allow that to continue and everytime I noticed him it was in a bad way. Except the one stick play I saw.

Prischepov is young, but I'd rather have him up getting these few minutes and gaining trust little by little. In every game he's played, he has made at least one play that has really stood out to me in a positive way. I can't stress how cool I find that for a 20 year old in the bottom six.

I know I’m probably in the minority, but I liked Stienburg.

For a pure 4th line role, that guy skated hard the entire shift, hit everything that moved and was a disrupter. Good skater, good size, plays the body and wasn’t a visible weakness defensively.

I don’t care about his suspension either, in fact I like that shit. Opponents need to keep their head up around him and will hear those footsteps on the forecheck.

I figured the reason why he wasn't still up was that Bednar didn't like his physicality. It's why I'm also surprised to see Middleton getting minutes.

I've always loved the idea of having a wrecking ball 4th line, all the better if the coach trusts them to start in any zone.

100% if your not scoring be heavy on the forecheck and finish your hits. Play good defensively, playing bottom six on the Avs you don’t need to score but be completely a pain in the ass to play against, force the opponent to take penalties.

Ok enough Georgiev bashing. When do we expect the other wood to make his debut? Is his flu like a couple of days and I’m good to go, or it’s a Miles Wood flu where he’s out for 10 games?

Yeah, Avs sent him down after the suspension lol

Apparently he will be called up to serve it when we are a bit more healthy and likes of Prishy/Wagner/etc can play with the Eagles while Stienburg serves.

It surprised me when they sent him back down. I figured there would have been a rule that you can't go back down until it had been served or something

The second this guy not only started hitting more but said in a post-game interview he wants to hit more I knew Bednar would not like this player whatsoever.

A shame, because he does try to disrupt on the forecheck and he was a big reason why the Avs started to look so much better in that game against Boston when he hit and then fought.

These two plays sentenced him… taking on one of the biggest guys in the league and arguably winning the fight and then knocking out Cernak… that type of rough housing is unacceptable by Jared.

It’s unfortunate because the Avs really need more of that, but outside of Manson, Bednar loves to neuter that out of his players.
