They didn't have a great 2nd but overall this looked like a completely different team. The top guys played like it, Wedgewood made good saves and looked calm and collected in net, the depth guys played well despite not showing up on the scoreboard.

The mental side of compeititon can truly be what makes the difference. When you begin to lose that confidence it's tough. It's felt like the entire team was on eggshells and that's just not any way to play hockey.

Even with the bad goal, Wedgewood was great. He made some fantastic saves, tracks the puck well, doesn't give up many rebounds. It's a small sample size but I don't think we could have asked for a better backup.
