45 years ago when Olympic sports were clearly rigged for the Iron Curtain. Find a recent example, or try to make a semantic argument that sidesteps the evidence and try’s to conflate “all the time” with “every time.”

2004 Athens. The US Equestrian team was awarded the Silver. Ludger Beerbaum from Germany was found to be doping. The Germans lost the Gold, but they got to stand on the podium. Incredibly, an Irish team member was also DQed for the same reason that year. It makes me wonder if that sport is like cycling?

So it every time a penalty is called for one team...the other team should get the next penalty?

Generally if one team commits an infraction they should get penalized. If the opposing team commits a penalty they should also get a penalty.

Like many of us have said, Canada deserved their penalties. But you can't call Canada for every infraction and never call the USA for their ones. Yes some missed calls will happen, but there have been blatantly missed calls.
