Anxious to see this game , I think both teams will leave it all on the ice today and the big winners will be who watches this game . Hoping for a US win but wouldn't put money on either team for this one.

Been able to watch most of the US match ups but only 2 of the CZE games. I think the US handles this one fairly easily: 5-2 USA.

I'd like to see Primeau in net and for the U.S. to play the same kind of game they did against Finland. Hardworking, relentless, and disciplined. Would be nice to have Hughes back as well.

Primeau or Keyser?

As of a couple days ago, it was still up in the air. I don't think either has distinguished themselves, and while my Bruins homerism wants Keyser, I'd probably go with Primeau. Keyser was out against Finland due to illness, and I'd just be worried about taking the chance that he's not 100% in a must-win game. I think whoever they go with has a short leash.

disciplined? One of your guys tried to elbow Tolvanen in the open ice.

I think big 3 from Chechs show up and pull out 4-3 upset over inconsistant us team, their d have been bad in general.

I am really hoping that Zadina and Necas show up to play and don't go out with a whimper. They should be able to make it interesting if they do. If it's what we have seen so far though it's an easy win for the US.

What I want to see:

A Mrazek like performance by Dostal. 3 goals from Necas/Kaut/Zadina and 1 more from anywhere. We win 4-3 and go to back to back Semi finals. All is forgiven and I don't fly to Vancouver to personally punch Varada in the face.

What I will see:

US score early, then often and then it looks like every other Czech/US matchup in the last decade at the World Juniors.

6-2 US

To their credit, the U.S. seldom loses games they should win. Don't expect them to start today...

5 - 2 U.S.

The US team is certainly the favourite of this game. I hope for the Czech guys to deliver a fearless performance and maybe they can surprise the US, if everything goes right, goalie has a great day and so on. But the US team certainly looks much better on paper, it is one of the two most serious gold medal contenders in my eyes (together with Canada).

I am not predicting this game. I only hope the Czech's have a good game.

Hughes seems good to go. I'm guessing K'Andre probably not???
