Wjc not counting 2nd assist?

Switzerland had a point shot deflected for a goal. The guy who tipped it got the goal, unassisted, somehow.

The secondary assists are normally touch and go, but they've seemed particularly bad today in general.
 
Will hopefully be fixed later. I remember one year when they got lots of assists wrong, eliteprospects posted the unofficial (correct) numbers on their site.
 
I noticed this as well. It seemed like Lavoie should have gotten an assist on the first Canadian goal today.

The big thing isn't that they don't, because they do, it's that they have the real b-squad in Trinec. It's one of the reasons I don't have tickets to any of those games. Everything from the arena, to the staff to the off ice officials are second rate in comparison to Ostrava. One of my buddies was at the early game in Trinec and he said there had to be less than 1k people there. Where as there were 8k+ in the two games I saw yesterday.

B squad? A first grader could recognize a secondary assist with camera replays.

Don't know why it took them so long. But they are indeed counting them; just very slow to do so.

Also added David Gustafsson's assist, and Nussbaumer + Moser's assists in the SUI-KAZ game(still missing Berni's secondary assist on the 2-1 goal though).
 
Yeah same thing happened to Veleno on the empty net goal yesterday, theyve always been stricter with the second assist though so we'll see if some of these get added after the fact
 
this is not like nhl, where a star player gets free assits like Crosby etc

It's not free pass if u touched puck. Do u rly think someones gets free pass nowadays :D That culture is like junior hockey not pro level.
 
Actually, this might be a nice experiment. Based on what i have heard, it's like a complementary point more than actually earned.
