I was Impressed by Latvia’s effort against the Finns last night - I don’t think it’s going to be as bad as many think.

Fair enough. Latvia on back to back nights though vs a pretty strong Canada team (all things considered) I think 8-1 would be a potential scoreline.

Pretty tough ask of Latvia on the B2B to begin a tournament against the top dogs in the group in Finland and Canada.

They played hard and scrappy last night, and as a Canada fan, I expect the same.

I think the overall depth will shine through as the game goes on and create a wide margin. Regardless, I am just excited to watch Canada take the ice.

Expecting Canada to come in a bit overrevved and take a lot of penalties in this game. Which I guess if that was going to happen it wouldn't hurt for it to be against Latvia.
