WJC Div III

Every year, I find it interesting to see how things are at the bottom rung of the World Junior Championships... division III.

This division consists of Lithuania (relegated from division II last year and probably the favorite,) Iceland, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Armenia (a brand new entry for U20.) Both Belgium (relegated from division II last year) and South Africa did not send a team this year for contention.

Well... today was day 1... and as always at this level matches are rather one-sided as the countries struggle with the winter sport.

No Ukraine finished 5th in Div 1, Germany won it and thus moved up to 2007 championships while Japan finished last and was relegated to Div 2
