There's always a game to bring players down a peg or two. Playing Hellebuyck against Buffalo and giving Leafs the backup is probably going up on the Leafs dressing room wall somewhere.
he may might play back to back.... they need wins

Hellebuyck is the only reason Winnipeg isn’t down 2-3 goals in the first period against Buffalo. Jets have been terrible so far.

I was a good goaltender in house league. I am ready to step up if they need me.

Leafs recalled Hollowell, Kral and Hutchinson.

I hope Hollowell gets a game, pretty underrated 2-way game. I was surprised he was recalled over Duszak though, but this could be because of waivers once healthy. I don't think they want to risk that.

Dahlstrom was returned to the Marlies. Kase also on LTIR

I really liked Kral in preseason too. He was very poised for a young gun. Seemed like a good two way player as well.

Makes sense to put Kase on LTIR. Get him healthy. Could see 2 players making debuts which would be nice

I knew Hutchinson would be the back-up in this situation, but wow. Having a rookie and a 5th stringer as your two goaltenders this close to the playoffs scares me to no end. Mind you, the Leafs have had 31st in save percentage for three months now, so goaltending has been a huge question mark for awhile now.

Oddly enough, goaltending hasn't concerned me heading into the playoffs much at any point since Matthews and Marner debuted in 2016. This season? It's my only concern.

Winnipeg looked dreadful against Buffalo, caught the game all the way through. Hellebuyck stole that game for them.

Which version of the Leafs will show up tomorrow? They do have a fantastic home record. I think Toronto takes this, Winnipeg on the back-to-back, should be fun.

I’ve never been a fan of his music, but his love for the Leafs is delightful. The guy has all the money in the world, but lives and dies every game like the rest of us.

I'm not sure how transitive property works but if I'm also a fan of the Leafs and Justin Bieber is a fan of the Leafs... Ipso facto... I am Justin Bieber?

Re the game, Jets are going to come out flying. It's their Game 7 of the Stanley Cup tomorrow.

Last time they met it was the greatest victory in Jet franchise history.
They are going to be motivated to relive that dream night while the Leafs will be on a bit of a let down after beating two really good teams and now facing one of the bottom barrel teams.

Jet fans will shirley put their teeth in and maybe even bathe before this one, so they'll be shined up for what could be the second greatest night of their lives. Nothing will ever top that December night. Rumour has it the Manitoba government is having Canada Post create a stamp to commemorate that night.

Cringey as f*** lmaoo, "this goes to this guy, who's 6ft7 220+lbs and hid from Wayne Simmons at a buck 85" I'll be going to this game with my brother, hoping for Matthews and co. to lay a slapping on this joke of a team. The 2 teams I hate the most, Boston now Winnipeg.

Oh don't worry. The Jets are honestly one of the worst defensive teams I have ever seen. Unless Hellebuyck has himself a game we're putting up a 5 spot.

To get will going dont move him down , move Bunting down and Tavares up. leave the previous third line alone. If three 11mill players cant get it done, noone else on the team should be held accountable. They leed the way and the other follows.

Did they try this before?

Who else would backup, nobody else is healthy. Leafs have 7 goalies under contract and only 2 are healthy right now.
