I'd pick Brady as my MOP - should be Kelly, but it's MOP not MVP.

Not sure there’s an argument for Kelly as MVP anyway. We just saw Toronto nearly beat us without him and they’re defending champs with him on the bench last year. He’s being carried by his team and not vice versa in my biased opinion

Anyone notice the Bombers went to 3 down linemen in the second half using Clemments and Cole more off the line in an effort to contain and cover. It worked well for the most part as the Lions barely moved the ball. It help that the Jeff's stayed in their lanes and stopped over shooting Adams.

22 yards from scrimmage short of Andrew Harris' best season of 1919 from 2019 (1380 rushing, 529 receiving). Harris only played 16 games that year too, it's pretty amazing how close Oliveira's 2023 is statistically to Harris' 2019.

Oliveira's at 1432 rushing and 465 receiving for comparison.

Only got back in time for the 2nd half, and due to our internet situation couldn't post here. @LadyJet26 seems like the only one who remembered that a CFL game isn't over until its over... My friends, why panic in the freaking first quarter?? It's not like we have Boltus or Quinn as our QB's, or a Mike Kelly coach...

I guess I missed the bad Defense of the 1st half, but the D was pretty much perfect in the 2nd half; only 1 FG, and did BC even get a 1st down until the final play? (that could have won the game for BC if the receiver was a bit more aware of the clock... Guess you can't blame a guy for wanting the TD... good effort by our D to catch him).

I will forever be haunted by the Khari Jones' comeback when they scored 3 TD's in the last 3 minutes of the game to win... I was at the game, but in the parking lot hearing the cannon go off... Again and again and again. Never again will I panic/give up before the 3 minute warning...

Gotta love the CFL!

This team isn't as good as past years, but a weekly reminder that neither is any other team this year. We have a very good chance of going all the way. Go Blue!

I was at the game tonight.....still can't believe what I saw....it was sheer madness....complete and total insanity.

i will need time to process this....but I will say this....there were some ANGRY Lions fans after the game.

I was there as well. Awesome amount of Blue jerseys in the crowd. Talked with Bombers fans from Kelowna and Winnipeg,so people made an effort to attend. Cheers Bomber fans, we were rewarded.

It's pretty interesting, they have some cool stuff on display. The Avco Cup (well, one of them, I think the other is in the HHOF) is in there.

About 2015 we entered the famed Barons tournament in Grand Forks as a birthday party weekend getaway for one of our buddies. We had jerseys made up with his face on them and presented them in a fake press conference and used the Sport Manitoba as our venue. He had no idea we had these jerseys made up and a few of us went in suits and presented him with his jersey with the C on it as captain. We made him give the team a speech and everything. Man, that was a fun weekend. In fact, that's where my avatar came from. We threw one of our guys' clothes in the shower, ala Kane. Ha.

Point of the story is that's how i know we have a Manitoba Sports hall of fame, or whatever it's called. Was pretty cool to see all the displays in there. Everyone should go at least once just to see it.

well, the end of the year is only 2 games away so hopefully it wont be that serious of an issue

News to me. He's still considered questionable (albeit leaning towards doubtful) by most for Saturday. It's almost exactly a month from the BC game to the West Final so he's got some time.

Only place I could find mention of Schoen's injury was Ted Wyman (on Winnipeg Sports Talk this afternoon) paraphrasing what Drew Wolitarsky told him and that it was a pretty serious ankle injury
