Still believe we can make the playoffs. Need to get a guy like vats on the back end, pp needs to improve asap.

I think the piece Anaheim really would want is Mantha, idk how high you guys value him but if we sent a dmen to Detroit id think Mantha would be 1 of the pieces coming back .

Is Edmonton still interested in trading Hopkins? If so I would like Detroit to put together a package of Green +++ for him.

I don't think we ever were interested in trading Hopkins he's one of McLellan's favorites. McDavid and Draisaitl are still quite young and he helps shelter them from tougher match-ups and is a key member of our PK which is doing pretty well right now. The dialogue from the organization and from those with insider knowledge is we are looking at adding a 3rd line center, with the intention of playing Draisaitl higher up in the line-up on the wing.

Holland is not going to be having any sort of fire sale so this is rather moot. The most I can see is Tatar being moved to make room for Mantha and space to resign Vanek.

Hell yes I'd do that deal. I don't see the Flames finishing bottom 5 at all, but we may very well miss the playoffs. If that's the case the pick is still a good pick, but won't help us anytime soon.

Lee and Frans Nielsen had chemistry when they played together, and I would swap Pelech for Pulock but then the first round pick is too much.
