They really tossed out Suter, Fabbri and Donato.

FabbrO would be legit. He's pretty underrated and would be an ideal #4, or the guy that runs the 3rd pair.

Johansson-Seider
Edvinsson-Fabbro
Chiarot-Petry/other FA add

That looks halfway to me. Move Fabbro down to run the 3rd pair if/when ASP is ready in 2026. We still need an upgrade in the top 4 on LD.

I'm honestly OK with bringing Fabbri back. He was a good locker room guy. Well liked and worked his ass off. You never doubted he left it all on the ice. 10/10 I'd take him over Tarasenko for the 3rd line.

Donato is fools gold and only scored at the rate he did due to high usage on a really shit Chicago team. Anywhere else he's a 3rd liner that is going to hurt you defensively to give you 15 goals. His previous high was 16 goals before the 31 this year. If the Wings sign him and expect him to be an efficient scorer I'll be very disappointed.

I think there is alot of reporting around Fabbro and CLB loving one another and how they are both actively working on signing a long term deal (lame).

I am hearing it seems pretty likely he (Fabbro) is going to re-sign with CBJ, otherwise I would agree.

He had a pretty impressive season this last year, and unlike Lindgren, I think he has some more offensive ability he could continue to tap into.

Only way I would bring Fabbri back is if this was NHL 25 and I could turn injuries off.

Bring Fabbri back?! Didn't we pay a 4th to be rid of him and now after one season, we want him back?

Look, I liked the guy to a point, but this is not the right way to manage a roster. Even at a vet min, he is injury prone and blocks a young guy from cracking the roster.

Not to mention, after all the bad pub from the Walman deal, you gonna do this? No way.

If you're worried about him blocking a kid's spot then being injury prone would be a bonus, right? If he's only available for 45 to 65 games then there's some opportunity for a kid to play up.

If Stevie goes out of his way to bring in Fabbro and Fabbri this summer, we take his weed away.

You wouldn't be upset with having Dante Fabbro on the team. The fact that we didn't pick him up on waivers when we needed RD, and were selecting before Columbus, is still f***ing dumb to me. Nashville was a bad team last year and that can't be blamed on Fabbro. They got worse after he was gone.
