Costanzo has been a Jekyl-and-Hyde goaltender; some games are great, others are the complete opposite. The team has stated that he's been getting help working on a lot of different areas, including the mental side of things. He has the ability, just has to get it consistently, which can be a challenge. With that said, Froggett had a look in the OHL when they needed a backup, and he didn't look out of place. Altiman is an option but he's very small (5'8 160?). Given they've been going for the playoffs since the start of the second half, I'd also guess that bringing up either goaltender would have been a signal that the season is over. They haven't been ready to do that yet.
