Williams was one a 1 year deal so have to factor in that he would factor into the comp pick formula. But, if you are active in free agency, then it likely nets out what he would sign for. So, these are the kind of decisions GMs have to make as well when they have guys on expiring contracts.

Hold onto them and have them factor into the comp picks formula if you don't plan on being active. Or you move them to get something as you do plan on being active. Bal/NE were masters as this to get the extra comp picks or timing when they would have cap room to go an add in free agency.
