I also meant past tense, at this juncture the decision's been made.

The optics would be bad and it seems counterintuitive, but it would be interesting to know if availability of entertainment at home actually leads to people staying home at a significant enough rate that the impact would be either net neutral or positive.

You have no idea when it arrived. The WHO report says it was spreading in Wuhan in September. How many people arrived in Canada since September? They never really started testing here for Covid before last January.

One of the worst things they do is create 'zones'. We'll have zero cases, they'll close up things in the GTA-area and next thing you know, we're being flooded by infected people. I did like how some people immediately jumped on this as just a way of taking Nylander off the ice because there's a trade in the works. I swear there's people who wake up in the morning and the first thing they do is check their cellphone to see if he was traded while they walk to the bathroom.

Agreed. We're 40 games into this season and we've had nothing until now. To me the NHL has done a fantastic job. I didn't think it'd go this smoothly.

Government. It's 14 days from exposure. If he tests positive at any point, it will be 10 days from that date. NHL may have different protocols, but the government ones supercede anything the NHL has

Isn't 14 days for travel?

I was in the exact same situation as Nylander and was told I wasn't required to quarantine at all. I just waited for a negative test result then went back to work.
