"I did not have sex with that woman".
I understand.Keep in mind that 50,000 was an arbitrary number that I chose off the top of my head that would include all major sports leagues, and I meant out of the global pool not Ontario's
I also meant past tense, at this juncture the decision's been made.I understand.
No matter the number, though, I still think the priority would be impossible under the circumstances.
You must then believe that the playoffs will be rigged so that the smallest market team wins, there's no way they'd let the Leafs win and have to find a way to suppress the province-wide celebration riots that would break out.
I often think if COVID had arrived just 6 months prior....
It arrived in December 2019 or early 2020. The poop hit the fan by Mar 2020. The point being if it arrived unbeknownst right at that time, it could have spread like wildfire. The Raptors celebration was ~9 months before COVID.
So what is the protocol if he tests negative? how many times and how long would he be out for?

14 days and would be tested every 3 days until clear. Cannot participate in any team activities until cleared.
Agreed. We're 40 games into this season and we've had nothing until now. To me the NHL has done a fantastic job. I didn't think it'd go this smoothly. If you'd have had a poll about how many players would end getting quarantined by this point in the season, I would have guessed more than 1 player.
Hopefully he tested negative earlier this week and that started the clock. Is the 14 days the NHL protocol or government protocol?
Didnt the government just give the NHL a 7 day protocol for crossing the border.Government. It's 14 days from exposure. If he tests positive at any point, it will be 10 days from that date. NHL may have different protocols, but the government ones supercede anything the NHL has
I believe Staal began practicing with the Habs 7 days after he was traded, so yes.Didnt the government just give the NHL a 7 day protocol for crossing the border.
shame we will probably never get this for the Leafs for the leafs smfhI often think if COVID had arrived just 6 months prior....View attachment 419547
Probably waiting for another negative and he's back Monday.
No other leafs in trouble so good news.
